Introduction to Java

This 3 day course has been specifically designed to give application developers a rapid introduction to the basics of programming with Java. The course is usually delivered utilising the VisualAge Integrated Development Environment (IDE) but can be delivered with JBuilder or Websphere Studio Application Developer. It assumes a familiarity with object concepts and some previous exposure to programming. Each topic will be taught with lessons, lecturer demonstrations and practical exercises. The exercises will combine together to create a simple but functional Java Application.
